Parsons has worked with the Government of Canada to contain and manage the arsenic trioxide and protect human and environmental health and safety at the Giant Mine in Yellowknife, Canada, site since 2013.
Gordie Howe
The Gordie Howe cable-stayed bridge our team is working on will have a clear span of 853 meters over the Detroit River, giving it the longest main span of any cable-stayed bridge in North America.

Bridge
Our team completed the annual bridge inspection of the Thousand Islands Crossing to Canada. This significant project stands tall and robust for almost 100 years and it is very difficult not to admire the engineering and detailing that has been applied to make this possible. Our engineer had to reach the top of the tower and walk the cable in order to fully inspect the structure.

Parsons United (composed of Parsons design and construction oversight United States and Canadian team members) faced off against WDBA FC in Windsor, Ontario. The game was backlit by the ever-growing Gordie Howe International Bridge towers.
Faro Mine
