We have contributed to major infrastructure projects across Canada since the 1940's. Across the country, our teams are on the cutting edge of infrastructure engineering, and have helped design and build many of the country's well-known landscapes, including the Regina Bypass, Turcot Exchange, Kicking Horse Canyon, Olivier-Charbonneau Bridge, Gordie Howe International Bridge, Highway 401, Gardiner Expressway Rehabilitation Project, Highway 400 & Major Mackenzie Drive, and La Fontaine Tunnel. Our experts have also worked with transit agencies around the country, helping the Toronto Subway, GO Transit network, Vancouver SkyTrain and the Edmonton Light Rail Transit improve mobility in their communities.

Rail And Transit

We are recognized leaders in rail and transit infrastructure design, linear infrastructure, and construction services. Pairing our unique expertise with innovative technology, as well as systems engineering and integration experience, we ensure the most effective and cost-efficient project design, construction, and operational capabilities over planned facility life cycles.

Bridges can enrich skylines and provide efficient transportation. Our bridge experts meet our customer’s challenges, offering seismic analysis, bascule bridges, and tunnel consulting. We are trailblazers in accelerated bridge design and delivery, and have contributed to design, construction, maintenance, and evaluation for many of Canada’s notable landmark bridges.

Roads And Highways

Our road and highway projects crisscross the country and circle the globe. Far from simply moving people from place to place, our smart corridors help move people into the future. From traditional to integrated delivery methods, our expertise encompasses all phases of engineering operations, from initial planning through final design, tendering, and construction.

Smart Vehicle Solutions

Our smart vehicle experts provide provinces and municipalities with the technology they need to maintain safety and emissions inspection systems with front- and back-office solutions. Our cybersecurity expertise complements these capabilities to protect the data being gathered.

We plan, design, engineer, build, and manage complex tunnel projects including large underground transit systems, sewers and pipelines, water and wastewater infrastructure, and hydroelectric projects, even in challenging geologic environments. We utilize 3D modeling, BIM, and conventional and machine-bored tunneling.

As a one-stop-shop environmental services provider, we carry remediation programs from initial assessment and design through closure and long-term operations and maintenance, helping our customers comply with regulations and manage risks throughout. Our experts keep sustainability top of mind for all of our projects.

Smart Mobility

As a leader in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), we provide smarter transportation management solutions, including the Ontario COMPASS Traffic Management System, and help cities deploy connected and automated vehicles while managing the data, communication networks, cybersecurity, and electrification systems to make them possible.

Active Transportation And Complete Streets

Our planners and engineers understand the importance of safe, accessible, efficient, and integrated systems for moving pedestrians, cyclists, micro-mobility users and transit riders through communities. We've helped clients plan, design, and deliver award-winning, transformative active transportation projects, and entire complete streets, in a wide range of settings.

Water And Wastewater

As a full-service partner in implementing conventional and advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies, we help our clients through their water management challenges with tailored solutions to help sustainably meet the needs of a growing population through our expertise in program, construction management, and engineering.

Mining And Reclamation

We have completed hundreds of decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects – delivering on the needs of mine owners and operators once extraction is complete. With our technical expertise, innovative technology, and safety culture, we deliver safe, effective, and environmentally sustainable solutions.

Project Management

Our project management group leads the way in executing transportation projects. With a commitment to precision and innovation, we specialize in delivering successful outcomes across diverse domains, from active transportation and connected communities’ studies to roads, highways and iconic bridge projects.
