FIFA World Cup Transportation And Design Planning – Doha, Qatar
We worked across numerous Qatari agencies to help drive decision-making for transportation planning, infrastructure design, and transportation operations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Traffic models and transportation management plans helped manage increased vehicle traffic, while master planning and design included more than 30 bus malls; five park-and-ride sites, delivering more than 20,000 spaces; and three temporary fan accommodation sites, providing over 10,000 rooms.
