Collaboration Fuels Innovation In Charlotte

Our 130 employees in Charlotte, North Carolina cut the ribbon on a new office space and “ideation center” in January 2020. Our largest Office Of The Future (OOTF) consists of nearly 40,000 square feet of workspace detailed with modern, high-tech designs that truly exemplifies Parsons’ innovation in the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.

Dianne Allen, a 31-year veteran of Parsons, cut the ribbon to formally open the new space.

Located in the popular South End neighborhood, the new space features an open layout, shared community space and a rooftop terrace with views of nearby Uptown Charlotte.

“Our Charlotte employees are a force multiplier for the company’s operations around the world,” said Chuck Harrington, chief executive officer for Parsons. “As an innovator at the nexus of defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure, we’re excited about increasing our presence in Charlotte and tapping into the immense talent and knowledge base that is synonymous with the Carolinas. Our new “ideation center” in Charlotte reflects this transition, with a modern, open floor plan that positively impacts our culture of collaboration.”

The striking color palettes, dynamic indoor and outdoor spaces, collaboration areas, and leading-edge audio/visual technologies help support our ever-evolving business needs while creating an environment that embraces innovation and our company’s culture and vision. While Modern, open desks are coupled with focus rooms and conference spaces for all types of collaboration.

Built as part of new local development The RailYard, the office also offers walkable access to the LYNX Blue Line and Rail Trail as well as numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and craft breweries.

We are proud to join Charlotte’s skyline as one of the newest commercial developments in the city.
