THE LINE is a 170 km-long linear smart city within Saudi Arabia’s NEOM region. It rises 500 m high yet is only 200 m wide. Designed for nine million residents, it eliminates cars, streets, and carbon emissions. It relies instead on high-speed transit for end-to-end travel in under 20 minutes. Its compact footprint preserves 95% of the surrounding natural landscape while integrating vertically layered parks, housing, workplaces, and civic spaces. Powered entirely by renewable energy, THE LINE sets a global benchmark for sustainable, high-density living. It advances Parsons’ role in delivering smart, resilient infrastructure for future-ready urban environments.

Parsons serves as a Delivery Partner, in collaboration with NEOM and partners Atkins and Jacobs, manages the full project lifecycle—overseeing comprehensive project and construction management consultancy across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and interface coordination with adjacent NEOM projects and logistics.
