A joint venture between El Sol Contracting & Construction and DeFoe Corp. has started construction on the $446.7 million third and final phase of the Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement project in New York City, state officials announced Friday. Other members of the JV’s design-build team include Parsons Transportation Group of New York Inc. and Greenman-Pedersen Inc.
