Parsons is pleased to announce that Himanshu Patel has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Rail and Transit Business Leader. In this newly created role, Mr. Patel will help drive the growth of the corporation’s rail and transit business, leveraging Parsons’ differentiated technologies and solutions-based approaches to build new revenue streams and integrative approaches. In addition, he will be responsible for strategic planning, business development, strategic recruitment, project delivery oversight, championing innovation, and demonstrating technical leadership.
Mr. Patel joined Parsons in 2016 and has more than 25 years of industry experience. He is a strategic leader with exceptional team skills and has a strong technical, financial, and operational background. Mr. Patel holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Sardar Patel University in India. He also holds credentials from the Project Management Institute, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association. In his personal time, Mr. Patel mentors students and serves as a coach with the First Lego League, a global robotics organization. He is based in New Hampshire.
