Parsons Joins Border Patrol Foundation as National Partner

Parsons today announced a national partnership with the Border Patrol Foundation (BPF), an organization that honors the memory of U.S. Border Patrol agents and provides resources to families of the fallen and agents seriously injured in the line of duty.

“We are grateful for the support and honored that Parsons has joined our National Partnership Program,” said Ron Colburn, Border Patrol Foundation President. “It is the amazing support of our dedicated partners that makes our mission of honoring the families of the U.S. Border Patrol possible.”

Parsons’ partnership with BPF includes a position on the advisory board, allowing the company to support national events, memorials and development initiatives.  For those employed by the Border Patrol, BPF provides financial support following on and off-duty deaths, injuries, illnesses, family medical emergencies and special circumstances, and for education. Since 2009, BPF has given more than $947,975 in financial assistance to the families of agents and awarded $315,000 for student scholarships.

“Parsons is proud to engage an organization that does so much to remember the brave men and women who  keep our borders safe and secure,” said Nate Magestad, Parsons Vice President. “They and their families serve as powerful examples of sacrifice, selflessness and service, and we look forward to committing our time, talents and resources toward the vital work of the Border Patrol Foundation.”
