In 2018, Parsons celebrates 40 years of commitment to the United Arab Emirates. We began by managing Abu Dhabi’s urban highway development program, and ever since, we’ve been helping the UAE transform into a global hub. Blending technology with infrastructure expertise, we create livable, smart, and integrated communities that connect people with their work, recreation, and each other.
“2018 marks 40 years since the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Founding Father, invited Parsons to help achieve his vision for the country’s future. We’re proud of helping to bring this vision to life since 1978, and we look forward to the next 40 years,” said Gary Adams, Parsons Group President.
“I am very pleased to announce that Parsons is further strengthening its commitment to the UAE, as we have started building our regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Located in a prominent business location very close to the Abu Dhabi International Airport and only one hour from Dubai World Central Airport, the new office is designed to accommodate our end-to-end technology enabled capabilities now and into the future,” added Adams.
Within the region, Parsons has been known primarily as a leader in civil infrastructure, transport, and land development consultancy, but has broadened its offerings in the areas of critical infrastructure protection, sustainable energy, advanced healthcare, smart cities, smart mobility, and end-to-end land development services. The company has also introduced several tech-driven solutions, including Parsons’ smart mobility backbone, called iNet™, and its critical infrastructure protection product, Domain6™.
