Parsons announces the appointment of Linda Murray as Chief Audit Executive (CAE). She will succeed Brent Harvey, who has been appointed Chief Risk Officer. The CAE reports functionally to the Audit Committee of the Corporation’s Board of Directors, with administrative reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. In her new role, Ms. Murray will be responsible for comprehensively applying risk management techniques across all groups in the corporation, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective actions.
“Linda has vast experience working across the defense, security, intelligence, environmental, and infrastructure markets and has leveraged data analytics to best position Parsons for growth and successful program execution to meet our customers’ robust mission requirements. She will use this same skill set to make a valuable contribution to our internal audit function,” said Chuck Harrington, Parsons’ Chairman and CEO.
During her 24-year career with Parsons, Ms. Murray has held a series of positions with increasing responsibility in areas such as operations, business development, and program/project management. Prior to her most recent position as the Federal business unit’s Strategic Planning & Marketing Manager, she served as the National Security Division Deputy Division Manager/Operations Manager, where she supported execution and growth of Parsons’ business within the federal intelligence and cybersecurity markets.
Ms. Murray holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Alfred University and a master’s degree in environmental engineering and science from the Colorado School of Mines. She is based in Parsons’ Columbia, MD, office.
