The annual awards recognize projects that exemplify engineering excellence by consulting firms in Canada, and are considered one of the most prestigious achievements in the industry.
The Sir Ambrose Shea Lift Bridge in Placentia, NL, connects local communities while supporting the region’s commercial fishing industry. Our design blended functionality with aesthetics, providing safe harbor for the commercial fishing industry while visibly celebrating the region’s nautical culture and enhancing the town’s tourism potential.
The Burgoyne Bridge replacement project replaced a 100-year-old high level truss bridge at the end of its useful life with a signature arch bridge to enhance the environment and maintain a key link in the transportation system in the City of St. Catharines. Our arch bridge solution delivered the environmental enhancement required from the appearance of the bridge and improved functional and public safety characteristics.
