PASADENA, CA (January 5, 2017) – Parsons, in collaboration with Sugerman Communications Group (SCG), announced that it recently received a 2016 PRism Award from the Public Relations Society of America Los Angeles Chapter (PRSA-LA) for its FORWARD internal communications campaign. Launched in November 2015 and rolled out in January 2016, the campaign had several objectives, including effectively informing all employees of the organizational changes taking place at Parsons as a result of the corporation’s FORWARD restructuring initiative—aimed at creating a more agile global business structure.
Each year, PRSA-LA recognizes outstanding programs and materials created by public relations professionals who work in the Greater Los Angeles area or have completed assignments for LA-based clients. The PRism Awards are open for entry submission by both members and non-members. Parsons received a 2016 PRism Award in the Internal Communications/Employee Relations category.

Parsons’ FORWARD internal communications campaign consisted of numerous elements, including a designed logo/graphic identity, written executive announcements, presentation/document templates, talking points, town hall meetings, and video and audio communications.
