Parsons Welcomes Alan Thomas as SVP and Industrial Eastern Regional Manager

PASADENA, CA (January 12, 2017) – Parsons is pleased to announce that Alan Thomas has joined the corporation as Senior Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager of the corporation’s Industrial Division, which focuses on environmental, power, pharmaceuticals, buildings, utilities, communications, pipelines, oil, gas, and chemicals. In this position, Mr. Thomas will provide sales and operational leadership for Parsons’ industrial business in the eastern United States. In addition, he will implement the Industrial Division’s strategy, manage and develop key accounts, and oversee business development and operational aspects of the business.

Mr. Thomas comes to Parsons with nearly 30 years of engineering and construction industry experience, including several business development and operations leadership roles in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has extensive experience with alternative project delivery methods, including design-build and public-private partnerships.

Mr. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing and business management from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
