PASADENA, CA (June 1, 2016) – Parsons is pleased to announce that Jon C. Moretta has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the North America West Division of its Industrial business unit. In this role, he will advance industrial growth strategies with a focus on bringing Parsons’ comprehensive capabilities and services to the corporation’s refining and chemicals customers.
Mr. Moretta has more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, operations, technology licensing, project management consulting, and engineering, procurement, and construction of major capital projects. He has extensive experience with startup and growth assignments for operations in the United States and Canada.
“Jon has considerable experience in strategic development in upstream, midstream, and downstream petroleum, chemicals, and other markets worldwide. Mr. Moretta holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan. He has authored numerous technical publications, and he holds multiple patents covering delayed coking and other heavy oil technologies. He is based in Houston, TX.
