PASADENA, CA (March 28, 2016) – Parsons announces the appointment of Shelley Green as Vice President – Treasurer and Risk Management, effective immediately. In this role, Ms. Green will be responsible for Parsons’ Treasury and Risk Management functions.
“Shelley is uniquely qualified for this role, having previously served as Treasurer for two other companies where she was also responsible for Risk Management at one of those two firms,” said George Ball, Parsons Chief Financial Officer. “She is highly skilled in finance and treasury operations, and we’re pleased that she has accepted this position.”
Ms. Green has more than 25 years of finance and treasury experience working for mid- and large-sized multinational public corporations. Her expertise includes global cash management, bank and private financing, pension fund management, financial risk management, and corporate insurance. Prior to joining Parsons as a Treasury Consultant in early January, she worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Director Global Treasury Sales Officer, Energy & Power. While there, she was responsible for managing a portfolio of large, global corporate customers, ranging from $3 billion to $200 billion in annual sales. Before that, she served as Vice President and Treasurer at a global engineering firm and was responsible for worldwide treasury operations and ensuring sufficient liquidity for both operating needs and funding of growth through mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Green holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a master’s degree in business administration from California State University, Northridge. She is based in Parsons’ Pasadena, CA, corporate headquarters.
