Parsons’ Lukasik Named Chair of Intelligent Transportation Systems California Board of Directors
PASADENA, CA (March 24, 2016) – Parsons is pleased to announce that Dan Lukasik, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) & Tolling Sector Vice President, was recently appointed to the position of Chair of the Board of Directors for ITS California (ITS-CA), an organization dedicated to improving the state’s surface transportation system through the advancement of ITS research, development, and deployment. Mr. Lukasik has served as Vice-Chair of ITS-CA’s Board of Directors for the past 3 years.

Mr. Lukasik has 25 years of experience, including the design and deployment of advanced transportation management systems, advanced traveler information systems, and transportation management centers. He has worked on a variety of integrated corridor management (ICM) projects in California, including the I-80 ICM in the San Francisco Bay area, the Dynamic Corridor Congestion Management Project in Los Angeles, and the award-winning I-15 ICM system in San Diego.
In his current position, Mr. Lukasik is responsible for overseeing Parsons’ ITS projects throughout the western United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL.
