Parsons Names Cassity as Executive Vice President of Business Development and Design-Build Delivery

PASADENA, CA (June 6, 2018) – Parsons has announced Patrick Cassity, PE, as its new Construction Group Executive Vice President of Business Development and Design-Build Delivery. In this role, Mr. Cassity will be responsible for working with Parsons’ Infrastructure, Federal, and Construction units to foster integration and innovation and drive growth and operational excellence in alternative project delivery.

Mr. Cassity will support the unit presidents and operating entities to achieve top-line growth and bottom-line performance while identifying market opportunities and adjacencies to extend Parsons’ infrastructure and construction portfolios. He will be responsible for driving innovative and transformative thought leadership across the company while leading integrated delivery as a service (IDeaaS) business development. In addition, he will serve as the primary liaison between the leadership teams of Parsons’ respective business lines and will lead capture strategy, project risk assessment, collaboration, and project execution activities.

Prior to this role, Mr. Cassity served as Executive Vice President of the corporation’s Infrastructure business unit, where he was responsible for leading the group’s global business development.

Mr. Cassity holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is based in Parsons’ Chicago office.
