Connecting the World’s Most Influential Business Leaders

Parsons’ Chairman and CEO Attends Wall Street Journal’s Annual CEO Council Meeting

The Wall Street Journal’s annual CEO Council meeting brings together an exclusive group of the world’s most influential business leaders to discuss pressing issues shaping the future, including the economy, trade, national security, and technological innovation. Infrastructure was also a hot topic at the meeting, which took place on December 3 and 4, 2018, in Washington, D.C., and was attended by Chuck Harrington, Parsons’ Chairman and CEO.

At a time when Congressional and White House leaders have opened the door for a possible infrastructure bill to move forward, The Wall Street Journal’s annual CEO Council meeting provided a venue for focused dialogue on how to leverage investment in our nation’s aging infrastructure.

“From smart cities to critical infrastructure protection and the nuts and bolts of how to move an infrastructure bill forward, the CEO Council meeting provided an opportunity for substantive conversations about the complex solutions we need to implement across the U.S.,” said Harrington.

The 2018 CEO Council meeting included experts in areas essential to today’s CEO, including Donna Brazile, Brazile Associates Founder; as well as top government decisionmakers such as Mitch McConnell, U.S. Senate Majority Leader; John R. Bolton, White House National Security Advisor; Steve Mnuchin, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury; and Steny Hoyer, House Minority Whip and U.S. Representative.
