PASADENA, CA (April 27, 2017) – Parsons announced that its Chairman and CEO, Charles L. “Chuck” Harrington, will serve as the keynote speaker at the Pasadena Educational Foundation’s (PEF’s) annual spring fundraiser. Titled “Celebrating Our Schools, Envision 2017,” this event will take place on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 5 p.m. in the Pasadena City Hall Courtyard.
“I look forward to participating in PEF’s annual spring event,” said Harrington. “PEF has been supporting public education in the communities of Pasadena, Altadena, and Sierra Madre since 1971, and Parsons is proud of its tradition of supporting honorable and educational organizations, particularly those with a commitment to the progress of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational programming for the next generation.”

“We are excited to have Chuck Harrington at our spring event to share his vision of the future, the power of workplace diversity, and his passion for innovation and education,” said PEF Executive Director Patrick Conyers. “Parsons has been a major PEF supporter for many years, and has contributed to many STEM initiatives in PUSD.”
“It’s important for our community to join together with PEF to support public schools. Today’s students will be tomorrow’s leaders, and they will be the pioneers and innovators of the future,” Harrington added. “Parsons and PEF believe strong schools build strong communities.”
