The 2024 NJ TransAction Conference will feature over 120 exhibitors including vehicles and other larger equipment. There will be at least 90+ workshop sessions (7-9 concurrent throughout each day) specializing in bus, rail, roads, bridges, goods movement, engineering, planning, pedestrian/bicycle, paratransit, community transportation, ports, NJ TRANSIT, NJ DOT, PATH, AMTRAK and much more.

FIFA World Cup – When a Mega Event Comes to Your State
The FIFA World Cup will take place in June 2026. Some of the games will take place at the stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey, and other practice games and fan events will take place across the region. Parsons’ involvement in the 2022 World Cup supported the games and festivities in Qatar, resulting in successful games for FIFA and the host committee. This session will cover some of the unique considerations of the World Cup and strategies implemented to ensure uneventful World Cup events.

A Collaborative Design Approach with an Agency Partner
This session will highlight how a collaborative design with an informed owner can effectively deliver a diverse array of projects on time and on budget. Specific examples will be highlighted from Parsons’ most recent Term Agreement with the NY State Thruway Authority, including bridge replacements, bridge rehabilitations, and scour repair projects. Although routine at face value, each assignment required coordination across multiple disciplines (structural, geotechnical, drainage, and highway) and with various project stakeholders.
