Parsons Corporation (“Parsons” or “we”) acknowledges and respects the privacy of users (“you” or “your”) visiting (“website”). This Privacy Statement informs you of Parsons’ privacy practices regarding Personal Information you may choose to provide when visiting the website and how Parsons uses such Personal Information (as defined below). Please note that this Privacy Statement does not apply to Parsons employees. Parsons has a separate Privacy Notice detailing how Parsons uses and collects the Personal Information of Parsons employees located on Parsons’ intranet. By continuing to use the website, you agree that you have read and agree to this Privacy Statement.

Information We Collect
Parsons may collect “Personal Information” from you, defined as information that identifies you as an individual or from which you may be identified. Personal Information includes any information you have provided in connection with your use of the website. Personal Information is collected when you establish an account with us or when you communicate with us about the website. We will act responsibly if you knowingly and voluntarily decide to give us Personal Information through any one of the following modes of communication:

  • Your email address for alerts from Parsons or for direct contact with a Parsons employee
  • Form filled out by you to provide contact information to Parsons
  • Submission of an employment application

Use of Your Personal Information
Parsons may use your Personal Information to respond to requests made while you visit our website and to process employment applications. Additionally, Parsons may use your Personal Information to:

The Personal Information you provide to Parsons may be shared, consistent with applicable law, as follows:

Parsons is responsible for the processing of Personal Information it receives under the Privacy Shield Framework and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Parsons complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of Personal Information from the European Union (EU), including the onward transfer liability provisions.

Parsons gives individuals the opportunity to opt out prior to disclosing Personal Information or using Personal Information for a purpose that is incompatible with the purpose for which the information was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual. In the event, we collect Sensitive Personal Information, Parsons gives individuals the opportunity to affirmatively and explicitly consent (opt in) prior to the disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information to a third party or to the use of Sensitive Personal Information for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by such individual. Exceptions to these requirements may apply where the disclosure of Personal Information is necessary for Parsons to coordinate with service providers or for other reasons as permitted by the Privacy Shield Framework or applicable law. “Sensitive Personal Information” refers to Personal Information regarding more sensitive areas, such as your government ID and certain other medical or health information, financial information, gender, marital status, race/ethnicity, and/or veteran or disability status.

Although there is no such thing as “perfect security” on the Internet, Parsons maintains reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. If we are required to contact you concerning the unauthorized access or acquisition of your Personal Information, we may do so by email, mail, or telephone, where permitted by law.

The website contains hyperlinks to non-Parsons sites that may be of interest to users. Parsons does not control or monitor the privacy, accuracy, quality, or integrity of those sites. You should check the privacy notice and policies of each website you visit. Links to third-party sites are provided solely for your convenience, and any use or submission of data to such sites shall be at your sole risk.

Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information and Privacy Shield
Parsons may transfer your Personal Information to parties as described above that are located in various countries around the world. By using our website or providing any Personal Information to Parsons, where applicable law permits, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of such information outside of your country of residence where data protection standards may be different.

For Personal Information that is transmitted from the EU to the United States, Parsons adheres to the principles of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield. Information about the Privacy Shield principles can be found on the U.S. Department of Commerce website. A violation of Parsons’ commitment to the Privacy Shield may be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. If there is any conflict between the policies in this Privacy Statement and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.

Data Integrity, Purpose Limitation, and Retention of Personal Information
Parsons limits the use of Personal Information to ways that are compatible and relevant to the purposes for which the Personal Information was collected or subsequently authorized or for which consent was obtained. Parsons will take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information is reliable for its intended use and that the information is accurate, complete, and current.

Personal Information is retained as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. In addition, Personal Information is also retained in accordance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and in accordance with Parsons’ retention schedule.

Access and Modification Rights
Pursuant to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, the deletion of, or changes to the Personal Information that we maintain about you, and, where appropriate, you may request that we update such Personal Information that you believe is incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You can also inquire whether we maintain Personal Information that relates to you. Although Parsons will attempt in good faith to respond to your request, we may not be able to provide, delete, or change your Personal Information in all circumstances. For example, Parsons may not be able to change, provide, or delete Personal Information about you if it would impose an undue burden or expense, or require Parsons to also change information relating to another person. In addition, in some circumstances pursuant to applicable law, you may have the right to request that we cease using Personal Information about you on the grounds that such Personal Information was acquired by unjust means or used in violation of law. Parsons will honor such requests as required and within the time specified by applicable law and, where permitted by law, may charge an appropriate fee to cover the cost of responding to your request.

Please be sure to include your full name, address, and telephone number and a copy of a document evidencing your identity (such as an ID card or passport) so we can ascertain your identity and whether we have any Personal Information regarding you, or, if we need to contact you to obtain any additional information, we may request to make that determination.
