Barber Appointed Corporate Vice President, Safety, Health & Environment

PASADENA, CA (July 9, 2012) – Parsons is pleased to announce that Bradley C. “Brad” Barber has been appointed to the position of Vice President, Corporate Safety, Health & Environment. In this role, Mr. Barber will manage all company safety, health, and environmental matters.

Mr. Barber joined Parsons in 1996 and has broad experience in managing safety programs in support of customers in multiple industries.  Parsons provides services in all aspects of health and safety from the process safety hazard review, through design review and analysis to construction management, operations, analysis, and support.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience to this position and has been and will continue to be an asset to Parsons,” said Chuck Harrington, Parsons Chairman and CEO.  

Mr. Barber holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health from Murray State University in Murray, KY, and a master’s degree in industrial hygiene from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He is a certified safety professional and is currently active in several industry organizations and forums, including the American Society of Safety Engineers. In addition, Mr. Barber is an academic advisory council member for the Occupational Safety and Health Department at Murray State University, and he also serves as an elected member of the National Construction Safety Executives.
