Parsons Named One of the World's Most Ethical Companies for Third Year in a Row

PASADENA, CA (March 16, 2012) – Parsons is pleased to announce that it has been named by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical (WME) Companies for 2012. This designation recognizes Parsons for its commitment to ethical leadership, compliance practices, and corporate social responsibility.

Ethisphere received a record number of nominations and applications for its sixth annual WME selection, evidence of both the award’s prominence and of companies’ desire to be acknowledged for their high ethical standards.

“Each year, the competition for World’s Most Ethical Companies intensifies as the number of nominations submitted for consideration grows,” said Alex Brigham, Executive Director of Ethisphere. “This year’s winners know that a strong ethics program is a key component to a successful business model, and they continue to scrutinize their ethical standards to keep up with an ever-changing regulatory environment.”

“We are honored to once again be recognized by Ethisphere for our commitment to acting ethically—with integrity—in everything we do,” said Chuck Harrington, Parsons’ Chairman and CEO. “Integrity is one of our six core values, and receiving this distinction for the third consecutive year recognizes the fact that we don’t just talk about doing business ethically but that we translate our words into action.”

Parsons communicates its commitment to integrity to all levels of the company through its Code of Conduct and through various training methods, including live training, videos, easily accessed online documentation, as well as periodic ethics “challenges” or quizzes to keep ethics in the forefront of its daily activities. In addition, Parsons has established metrics to measure the effectiveness of its integrity core value.
