Parsons is the premier choice for world-class aviation design, engineering, and construction services. More than 450 airports in 40 countries have counted on us to plan, construct, enhance, and sustain their landside and airside infrastructure—totaling more than $175 billion in construction value. Airports serve as gateways to cities, and seamless, multimodal travel is essential to a global economy. We apply state-of-the-art technology and proven processes to help our customers expand or rehabilitate existing airport facilities; deliver greenfield airport programs; and modernize aviation IT, navigational, security, and NextGen technologies.
Our life-cycle capital project delivery services range from planning and design to program and construction management to operations and maintenance. One example of our extensive capabilities is our work on the new Mexico City International Airport, where we’re providing program management and sustainability services. The airport’s Passenger Terminal Building, designed to achieve an LEED Platinum rating, features myriad sustainable elements, such as on-site solar power generation and water conservation measures. We’ve even led the way in securing $6 billion of green bonds, representing the world’s largest sustainable transaction.
We’re also providing program and construction management services for the multibillion-dollar Landside Access Modernization Program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which aims to relieve congestion for people traveling to and from the world’s busiest origin and destination airport. The program involves a variety of capital improvement projects, such as roadway improvements, an automated people mover, a consolidated rental car facility, and two multimodal transportation facilities, some of which are being procured via the design-build-finance-operate-maintain method. Here, our proficiency and experience with an assortment of projects and delivery methods will benefit our client, travelers using LAX, and the people of Los Angeles by improving landside access through a smooth, well-managed program.
In addition to more traditional engineering, construction, and program management services, we draw on the expertise of our technology professionals and our history of serving the defense industry to provide world-class aviation cybersecurity services. Cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated by the day, and it’s our responsibility to stay a step ahead and deliver customized solutions for our customers, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance services.
