SUMMARY:AFCEA TechNet Cyber
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nJoin us for AFCEA TechNet Cyber 2026\, June 2–4 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore\, MD. This flagship cyberspace event convenes military\, government\, industry\, and academic leaders. They will address the most pressing challenges in cybersecurity\, operations\, policy\, and technology integration. With expert speakers and engaging discussions\, TechNet Cyber is a premier forum. It shapes the future of secure and resilient cyber operations in an increasingly contested domain. \nConference & Exhibit Info\nTechNet Augusta gives participants the opportunity to examine and explore the intricacies of the cyber domain. With assistance from the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and industry experts\, the conference is designed to open the lines of communication and facilitate networking\, education and problem solving. Leaders and operators also discuss the procurement challenges the military\, government and industry face during a time of uncertain budgets and runaway technology advances. \n\nExhibit\nStop by and visit a Parsons representative in the TechNet Cyber 2026 Exhibit Hall. SUMMARY:Case Studies Demonstrating The Outcome Of Integrating Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Into Conceptual Site Models
DESCRIPTION:Join us on June 10\, 2026 for a technical webinar regarding Case Studies Demonstrating The Outcome Of Integrating Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Into Conceptual Site Models  \nBackground/Objectives\nFor complex sites\, significant characterization may be required to develop a robust understanding of the chemical distribution within heterogeneous media\, identify preferential flow paths\, estimate chemical transport rates\, and define treatment zones for remedies. High-resolution site characterization (HRSC) tools can provide rapid\, field-based\, high-density data to enable more effective development of the conceptual site model (CSM). \nApproach/Activities\nNuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is an HRSC tool that has recently been adapted for use at contaminated sites to collect high-resolution hydrogeologic data. Several case studies where NMR has been applied at contaminated sites with varying geology and wide-ranging objectives will be presented to demonstrate the advantages of using NMR for HRSC supported CSM development. \nResults/Lessons Learned\nThe case studies demonstrate that NMR provided hydrogeologic insights that were not readily resolved through conventional methods alone. NMR data helped identify preferential flow intervals\, support well screen placement\, estimate relative hydraulic conductivity\, and evaluate mobile water in the vadose zone. These applications improved subsurface interpretation\, reduced uncertainty in the CSM\, and provided a stronger technical basis for investigation planning and remedial design. \nPresenters\nKARLA LESLIE\, PhD\, PG Karla is a subject matter expert in environmental remediation\, specializing in CSM development\, high-resolution site characterization\, geochemistry\, and microbiology for the development\, design\, implementation\, and optimization of innovative remedial strategies. \nTODD BELANGER  Todd is a hydrogeologist and PFAS subject matter expert specializing in site-specific CSM development using regional geology\, hydrogeology\, environmental sequence stratigraphy\, 3D geologic modeling\, and data visualization to support complex environmental investigations. \nTo Join The Webinar\nJoin on your computer\, mobile app or room device: \nClick here to join the meeting.\nPhone Conference ID: 267 606 688 341 27\nPasscode: yL9YN7EY \nPlease visit the Parsons YouTube channel where video recordings of our previous\ntechnical webinars are available for viewing
