Supporting the Next Generation of Women Engineers – Monday June 12th 10:30:

  • This session will share information and data why women continue to be underrepresented in the field of engineering. Panelists will discuss industry data and the barriers women face once employed in the engineering field recognizing that only 14 percent of all professionals working in engineering are women. Even so, the number of women has consistently grown over the last few decades, and panelists will highlight best practices for promoting the hiring and retention of women engineers. As more women choose to pursue degrees in engineering there is still much more that can be done to encourage and support this trend.
