In a landmark move towards fostering gender equality and empowering women in the field of engineering, we have announced a strategic partnership with the Saudi Women Engineers Society (SWES). This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the engineering sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
By joining forces with Parsons, SWES aims to expand its reach and impact, leveraging the expertise and resources of one of the world’s leading critical infrastructure firms. Through this partnership, our team will collaborate with SWES on various initiatives, including mentorship programs, skill development workshops, networking events, and advocacy campaigns to promote diversity and inclusion in the critical infrastructure industry.
This partnership underscores our commitment to diversity and inclusion as one of our core values driving innovation and excellence in the critical infrastructure sector. By actively engaging with organizations like SWES, we seek to create a more inclusive workplace culture where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents.
Today, we have nearly 2872 professional staff working on projects in the Kingdom and continues to employ more than 209 women working on giga projects like NEOM.
In addition to fostering talent development and career advancement opportunities for women engineers, the partnership between Parsons and SWES also aims to promote STEM education and outreach initiatives targeting girls and young women.
Our Tamkeen Program empowers graduate engineers with the skills and knowledge to excel and to help Parsons achieve its strategic goals by developing future leaders and technical specialists. Last year, the program welcomed 10 female graduates.
