Parsons Recognized as a Top 50 STEM Diversity Employer

PASADENA, CA (September 26, 2016) – Parsons is pleased to announce that it has been named a Top 50 Employer by STEM Workforce Diversity magazine, a career publication for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) professionals who are women, members of minority groups, people with disabilities, and Veterans.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as an employer of choice for STEM professionals,” said Debra Fiori, Parsons’ Corporate Vice President of Talent Management. “The diversity of Parsons’ workforce composition benefits our customers around the world.”

This is the second consecutive year that Parsons has been recognized by STEM Workforce Diversity—published by Equal Opportunity Publications (EOP)—as a Top 50 Employer. The magazine’s readers selected the top companies in the country for which they would most prefer to work or believe would provide a positive working environment for engineers and IT professionals who are members of minority groups. STEM Workforce Diversity’s Top 50 Employer list is the result of an annual survey mailed to randomly selected readers.

Currently, Parsons employees are engaged in countless projects in 29 countries and speak more than 80 languages collectively. In addition to being recognized by STEM Workforce Diversity, the corporation has also been named for 5 years among the “Top 50 Employers” for minority engineers in Minority Engineer—a magazine that is also published by EOP. Parsons has also been named a Military Friendly Employer® by Victory Media for 4 consecutive years.
