Establishing a complete definition of the performance and functional requirements is critical to project success. Parsons ensures that client requirements are captured, documented and controlled throughout the life of a project. Parsons' experienced staff is able to identify the stakeholders and engage with them to capture their requirements. Rigorous validation and verification is applied at all stages to ensure that the requirements remain complete and consistent throughout.
Once a problem is described and captured as a set of requirements, Parsons has the capability of analyzing potential solutions and identifying the system to be built that fully satisfies the requirements. Allocating requirements to the system to be built and to the external systems that support it helps to clarify what needs to be done and identifies the dependencies on other components. Extensive use is made of modeling and analysis tools to support this process.
Parsons adopts the definition that Systems Assurance is the continuous holistic process of providing confidence that a system, product or project is compliant with all relevant requirements, and will be capable of being accepted and approved at the prescribed milestones by appropriate acceptance and approval bodies. Whether assuring its own or others work, Parson treats systems assurance as an integral part of a project and builds it into normal management processes from the start.
