Signaling and Train Control
Parsons’ Signaling and Train Control team consists of over 30 experts. This group of signal systems experts applies proven and state-of-the-art technologies, including conventional track circuits and wayside signals, cab signals, advanced train control technologies, and grade crossing warning systems. These technologies are applied on projects such as people-movers, light rail, heavy rail transit, commuter rail, and passenger and freight railroads. Parsons Signaling and Train Control team leads the industry in the design and implementation of Communications Based Train Control (CBTC). Collectively our team has worked on the majority of the CBTC implementations around the world.
The range of expertise covers project conception, planning and technology selection, circuit design, system requirements definition, construction management and installation oversight, testing, cutover, system operations, and continuing maintenance including life cycle maintenance planning.
