Overview
Parsons supports a broad spectrum of homeland security initiatives ranging from safeguarding drinking water sources to protecting critical infrastructure facilities. We support our customers in assessing facility vulnerability and subsequent implementation of mitigation measures. Our customers include city and state governments, regional authorities, airport and port authorities, large commercial customers and various federal government agencies.
Parsons services include design and mitigation to prevent tampering of potable water supplies, design blast resistant critical facilities, design and construct force protection solutions and security systems at military installations, install passenger screening and other security measures at airports, safeguard major transit terminals, and secure weapons of mass destruction. Parsons supported the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey immediately following the terrorist incident of 9/11 by designing and developing a temporary transit station. Our support to the Port Authority continues with the design of a new transit terminal.
Parsons is working directly for airport authorities and federal agencies to enhance security at many of our nation’s major airports. We are providing force protection measures ranging from security systems to smart gates at numerous airports, and we are securing weapons of mass destruction in the US and overseas. We are working with major corporations and government to protect our ports and ensure an uninterrupted supply chain from around the world.
