PASADENA, CA (January 20, 2010) – Parsons today announced that it has established an employee-donation matching program in response to the devastating seismic events in Haiti.
Parsons’ goal is to build upon our employees’ charitable efforts by matching their donations dollar-per-dollar with a goal of raising $150,000 for The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and the American Red Cross. Employee and corporate contributions will help provide much-needed relief to impacted Haitians.
“Parsons is currently working on several ways to help the people of Haiti, but we know the most critical need is money to finance the international relief effort,” said Chuck Harrington, Parsons’ Chairman and CEO. “Our employees are eager to help out, and through our employee-donation matching program, the impact of their generosity will be doubled.”
Since its inception in 1944, Parsons has given back to communities around the world.
