We develop innovative technologies for the future
The energy market is growing and changing rapidly because of the recent combination of wide fluctuations in energy prices and concerns about global warming. Nuclear energy resurgence, carbon management, alternative energy production, and the development and deployment of innovative technologies are our focus areas. Parsons has extensive expertise in the deployment of one-of-a-kind technologies and owner’s engineering/program management services. Energy conservation and control of global warming are primary market drivers for sustainability. All of the major energy producers and consumers are investing money to reduce energy consumption and its carbon footprint. We are there to help develop energy technologies, energy science, energy facilities, and weapons complexes.
R&D
To help develop innovative solutions—when responding to the challenges of developing energy solutions for the future—Parsons has constructed its own Technology Development and Fabrication Complex in Pasco, Washington. The Pasco complex is a “one stop” shop that develops all phases of multifaceted systems.

- National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) Program for the Department of Energy, Office of Fossil Energy. Since 1995, we have assisted in managing the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of NETL’s three R&D facilities. This effort includes laboratory research and pilot plant systems to support DOE’s fossil energy R&D programs. Our work supports NETL’s various energy research programs to resolve the challenges of providing clean and efficient energy sources for the 21st century.
