Controlling contamination means controlling your bottom line

Parsons’ safe, cost-effective, and technically innovative investigation and remediation projects help customers turn liabilities into assets. We view projects, from the start to finish, with the end result firmly in mind.  We have a proven track record of incorporating sustainable solutions and green strategies into all of our business practices.

Parsons is a leader in providing innovative, risk-based remedial technologies to its customers worldwide:

Innovative solutions. Parsons designed and installed innovative wetland treatments for the Bofors Nobel Superfund site in Michigan that consisted of shredded tire chips and peat to increase permeability and treat volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and benzidine.

Ground-breaking science. We co-authored both the original and the updated version of the “Protocol for in situ Bioremediation of Chlorinated Solvents using Edible Oil,” under contract to the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE).

Successful teaming. Parsons teamed with Virginia Tech to evaluate the ability to treat unique chemicals of concern at a former chemical plant in Mississippi. We also partnered with Purdue University to evaluate the phytoremediation of fluoride and cyanide at a spent potliner landfill.
