CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

Parsons contracts group is committed to a project from proposal preparation to closeout to protect Parsons, client, and subcontractor interests. They negotiate, review, interpret, draft, and analyze contract documents for unclear or potentially dangerous clauses.

Contracts professionals are core team members on every successful project. Their expertise extends from processing micropurchases to overseeing multimillion-dollar contracts. Parsons contracts professionals are respected worldwide for their ability to interpret and negotiate the most complex terms.

Parsons contracts group works with clients to establish mutually acceptable contract terms and conditions; develop program-wide strategies; contract formation and administration procedures; and establish claims avoidance programs. As a program progresses through the planning phase, bidders lists for construction are developed. Contracts coordinates the formation, obtains client approvals, and issues the design and construction requests for proposals.

Contract administration responsibilities include reviewing bid and subcontract documents from each contractor to its subcontractors. We ensure that all appropriate flowdown clauses and prime contract requirements are included. Document review confirms the exclusion of conditions that place clients at unacceptable risk of cost or schedule impacts.

Throughout a program, we assist with daily contract administration , ensuring compliance by all parties, negotiating changes, reviewing invoices for approval, investigating and negotiating claims, and closing out completed contracts. Programs are deemed successful only when all parties are satisfied with the results.
