Parsons Parsons

DEACTIVATION, DECONTAMINATION, DISMANTLEMENT, AND DECOMMISSIONING (D-4)

Parsons capabilities for decontamination and decommissioning of nuclear facilities include extensive experience in conceptual and detailed design, permitting, licensing, and operations support.

We have supported DOE and its contractors environmental restoration mission at Fernald, Hanford, Los Alamos, RMI, Oak Ridge, Rocky Flats, Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory, Mound, and Savannah River. Parsons focuses on D-4 activities as well as environmental health and safety and liquid/solid waste management

Each new project requires identification and evaluation of environmental technologies that apply to the DOE’s unique waste management challenges.

Parsons personnel have successfully performed safe shutdown assessments, remediation, and closeout projects. Tasks involve planning, project management, engineering, design, cost and schedule control, environmental safety and health, technical support, value engineering, and risk assessments.
