Project Description

At the U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Parsons is providing a broad range of support services, including research and development of new energy sources and operation and maintenance of the R&D facilities. The Western Pennsylvania Safety Council presented Parsons with an Outstanding Achievement Award, recognizing our excellent environmental safety and health performance. Parsons' NETL team had zero lost-time accidents in 2004.

NETL is part of the Department of Energy's national laboratory system dedicated to advancing the economic and energy security of the U.S. As one of three partners in Research and Development Solutions, Parsons provides expertise in vital energy and environmental issues such as stable fuel supplies, pollution control technologies, and control of greenhouse gas emissions. RDS, LLC supports the NETL mission of managing and integrating all stages of science and technology development in pursuit of commercially viable solutions to the growing need for safe and reliable energy.

Parsons has provided major operational, technical, and management support services at NETL since 1999. Our tenure, marked with innovative engineering solutions to complex problems and flexibility to respond to NETL needs, is recognized with consistently high award fee ratings.
