Parsons Parsons

Project Description

Parsons has provided environmental compliance services to the Kansas City District for nearly 20 years. The Kansas City District selected Parsons in 1995 to support Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) actions. Parsons was tasked to prepare a major Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Relocation of the U.S. Army Chemical School and the U.S. Army Military Police School from Fort McClellan, Alabama to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Parsons has prepared other BRAC EIS documents for Fort Sheridan, Fort Chaffee, and Fort McGuire.

We continue to be a major contractor at Fort Leonard Wood, providing support for all compliance requirements, including pollution prevention planning, spill prevention training, environmental management system training, endangered species studies, evaluation of the ongoing installation mission, and future training range requirements.

Through these contracts, Parsons has supported the Army Transformation efforts at a number of installations served by the Kansas City District. With the most recent BRAC actions, Parsons will continue to provide NEPA, master planning, logistic, training, and management support.
