Project Description
Parsons' work on this project consisted of on-site excavation, transportation, and backfill of approximately 200,000 cubic yards of material. 225,000 cubic yards of material was excavated at a remote borrow pit, loaded, transported, spread, and compacted. The surrounding area was then contoured. Additional work included the excavation, material handling, and packaging of 5,000 cubic yards of low-level radiologically contaminated soil for off-site transfer.
