2009 National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) 35th Annual National Convention

Parsons is proud to support NSBE's 35th Annual National Conference, Energizing Creativity to Achieve Exponential Growth, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

2008 Air Transport Research Society World Conference

The University of California, Berkeley, invited Early Career Professional, Grace Uang, Associate Engineer with Parsons' Bridge & Tunnel Division, to participate in the 2008 Athens 12th Air Transport Research Society World Conference. During her graduate studies at UC Berkeley, Grace co-authored a paper on air transport research with Dr. Jasenka Rakas and Dr. Tatjana Bolic.

Milton Hunter (ret) was profiled in the 2007 "Winter Issue" of US Black Engineer Magazine as a Top 100 Black in Technology and was recognized at the Top Black in Technology Awards Dinner at the 2008 BEYA Conference.

Anthony B. Taylor, Jr. was profiled as a Black Engineer of the Year Award Winner in the USBE Conference Magazine and recognized at the HBCU Deans Awards Breakfast at the Conference.

William Keyes was selected as a Modern Day Technology Leader in the USBE Conference Magazine and recognized at the Modern Day Tech Luncheon at the Conference. 2007 Black Engineer of the Year Awards Two Parsons project managers, Chukwuma Umolu and Bruce Davis, were selected as Modern Day Technology Leaders at the 2007 Black Engineer of the Year Awards Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Parsons provided gold sponsorship of the event.
