ENR magazine's April 21, 2008, issue ranks the 2008 Top 500 Design Firms. Based on 2007 data. Parsons was ranked #1 in Telecommunication for the eighth year in a row. Parsons was ranked #9 overall for Design. Parsons’ Hazardous Waste rank was #4. In Manufacturing, Parsons was ranked #11, and was ranked #9 in Transportation. Parsons’ General Building rank is #9, and Parsons’ International Markets rank is #17. In Industrial Process/Petro, Parsons once again ranked #19.

CollegeGrad.com has named Parsons one of the top 500 employers of entry level college graduates for 2008—the fourth year in a row.

Parsons is planning and overseeing construction of the Shchuch’ye Chemical Weapons Destruction Facility (CWDF), Russia’s first chemical weapons destruction facility, to destroy chemical weapons in a safe and ecologically protective manner.

This project is featured in Primavera Magazine’s Fall 2007 cover story. In the article, Parsons employee Andrea Bach discusses how an earned value management system, using Primavera software, was successfully implemented on the Shchuch'ye CWDF project.

Parsons provided rehabilitation design engineering and onsite technical assistance during construction on the Paseo Bridge rehabilitation project, which was featured in Structure Magazine's October 2005 issue.

Parsons was named the top Engineering & Construction firm in InformationWeek's annual ranking of the 500 most innovative users of technology. Parsons received this ranking 4 of the past 5 years and finished as one of the highest ranked firms in any industry at #11, our highest overall ranking ever.

Parsons Corp., a Pasadena-based engineering and construction firm, has acquired The Alaris Group LLC, a company that specializes in securing and developing sites for wireless telecommunications development.

Jim McNulty, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Parsons, recently spoke with the Pasadena Star News about the recent Iraq contracts awarded.

Parsons is selected by the American Segmental Bridge Institute (ASBI) to receive the 2003 "ASBI Bridge Award of Excellence". ASBI provides an international forum for bridge owners, designers, contractors and suppliers to discuss new innovations and resolve challenges to advance the quality of segmental bridges. Two of Parsons bridge projects, the “Big I” Interchange in Albuquerque New Mexico, and the Foothills Parkway Bridges project in Blount County Tennessee, were selected to receive awards for this inaugural competition.

The US Department of Commerce recently featured Parsons on their website. Commercial Service officials were given a tour of the construction site at Teda Stadium in Tianjian, China.

Constructech Magazine recently announced the winners of its 3rd annual Vision Awards. Parsons was honored as the Gold award winner in this year's Architectural/Engineering/Design ($251 million and over) category. Visit the Constructech web site for more information.

InformationWeek, the leading information technology publication, has published the annual InformationWeek 500, ranking the most innovative users of information technology. Our ranking has increased each year since 1998, when we were honored to make the list at #497. Last year we finished at the highest level ever for a firm in our industry at #119. This year, Parsons finished as one of the highest ranking firms in any industry--#24! The 9/23/02 issue also includes an article with John Thomas, Parsons CIO, on methods used by engineering and construction firms to reduce costs.

Once again ENR Magazine has ranked Parsons "Number One" in the 2002 Construction Management for Fee category. This is the fourth consecutive year that Parsons has led in this category.
