Parsons Parsons

DESIGN

Parsons offers engineering and design services for architecture; civil, structural, mechanical, utilities, and electrical engineering; telecommunications networking; and security and utility network designs. Parsons engineers, responsible to client management, reconcile all design interests and perspectives.

Parsons offers extensive services for schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Parsons endeavors to reach decisions during the first two design phases so production design and preparation of the construction documents can be rendered efficiently.

Successful designs consider social, economic, and physical characteristics for each site. Our holistic concepts are consistent with stakeholder goals and objectives, site conditions, construction and operating budgets, development timelines and the relationship of the project to the surrounding community.

Typical examples of Parsons varied and award-winning design projects include:

  • National Test Facility: design and construction of all building tenant improvements
  • UCLA: design and construction of the central chiller plant that provides steam and chilled water for the south campus and medical center and electricity for the entire campus
  • US Postal Service: site planning; building floor plans, sections, and elevations; security; and state-of-the-art communications systems
  • National Park Service: design, reconfiguration and construction of the Mount Rushmore site access road and parking area; design development for the riverfront redevelopment of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, St. Louis, Missouri
  • Federal Aviation Administration: design-build services for the terminal radar approach control and environmental support unit at the Honolulu International Airport
