CONSTRUCTION

Construction has been an integrated part of Parsons services since its first construction program of a grassroots design-build refinery in Turkey in 1952. From the ice fields of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to the Yanbu Industrial City in the desert of Saudi Arabia, from refineries to missile test facilities and environmental cleanup programs, Parsons provides full-service construction capabilities in conjunction with engineering operations worldwide. Services and staff are available for union or merit shop programs and for direct-hire on union-only basis. Construction management resources include:

  • Supervisory and nonsupervisory field administrative staff
  • Field construction engineering
  • Inspection personnel

Parsons construction staff maintains union agreements and provides labor relations experience for the negotiation of contracts and ongoing activities. Our experience has proven that proper use of a labor plan minimizes misunderstandings while ensuring productivity, cooperation, quality, safety, and project success.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy construction-site environment. The objective of our conscientious, well-trained employees is to conduct operations effectively and efficiently through a system designed to prevent workplace accidents, injuries, and illness. We achieve this objective through a combination of concerned management and responsible and knowledgeable supervision.

Parsons extensive experience with heavy rigging, land and water transportation, and computerized material control management all add up to cost-effective solutions for projects of all sizes and complexity.
